Sofiia Sichkar
About
Sofiia Sichkar is an emerging artist and illustrator studying at School of Visual Arts in New York City.
In her practice, Sofiia creates symbolic worlds populated by anonymous human figures. She uses color, simplified bodies, organic environments, and archetypal imagery to explore emotional and existential experiences.
Inspired by memory, nature, history, science, literature, and mythology, Sofiia shifts the focus toward emotion, curiosity, connection, and individual experience. Through abstraction, color, organic forms, and emotionally driven storytelling, she creates spaces where identity is open rather than defined.
