My Vision and story
When I first got to learn how to stretch a canvas in my freshman year of college, it was like seeing the material from another point of view. Not just pre-stretched and primed canvas that is there to be painted on, but a fabric that is not only durable enough but easy to manipulate into creating something totally different.
From that moment, I have started working on my first series called "Blank Canvas" in which I leave the sculptures literally blank. Consisting of 3 sculptures of which only two have been finished as of now.
The idea of it is to bring the feeling of unfinished or the feeling of possibilities and beginnings.
Just like when you see a blank canvas, the possibilities of what you might create are endless!
My Mission & Goal
​​My sculptures are the visual representation of the words "You can be anything!" because if you think about it, each one of them came from a big piece of flat canvas that got turned in to a unique creature with a personality of its own. My mission is to bring more attention to how materials like canvas can be so much more than what they were made for.

My personal artist goal and hope is that these sculptures will open new doors and opportunities for me to work and collaborate with amazing people and show the world what might be possible if you think of new way to create.

As of June 2025, I have began a new series of canvas sculptures which this time would be full of color and new visualizations, while still maintaining the main idea of creatures and canvas material.
The sculptures in this upcoming series which will debute in mid september, are each custom made for a fashion show that is directed by SVA Fashion Club, and you already can follow the process and journey of the series !
